Vinegarlic

As the weather warms and the ticks start to show their unsightly little heads, here is a precautionary measure that we can all take…

Buy a 32 oz bottle of organic apple cider vinegar. Chop up about half a bulb of fresh organic garlic and drop it into the ACV. Shake it up and put it in the cupboard. Every day, shake it again.

In a couple of weeks, it will be ready to add to your dog’s dinner. Use about a teapoon for a 25 lb dog, a tablespoon for a 75 lb dog, and up to 3 tablespoons for a 150 lb dog.

Garlic contains hundreds of sulphur compounds and vinegar extracts the sulphurs from the garlic, but also helps to normalize the pH level in the body. Together, this creates an environment that parasites (including ticks) cannot tolerate.
